Inside the Actor's Studio: Clint Eastwood

Coming back to Bangkok I have the opportunity to watch again 'Gran Torino'. An amazing film, with a seemingly simple story, a great storytelling, great direction, great characters and a hell of a great Clint Eastwood. As with Woody Allen, Clint Eastwood with his 80years (if I don't say wrong) stills bringing us the joys of good cinema. And I don't told for this last Gran Torino but for a very long list of great films in front or behind the camera.

For those who enjoy Clint Eastwood there's an interview from Inside the Actor's Studio.



Have to add a mention to Inside the Actor's Studio by James Lipton. It's a rare joy to find good interviews and a rarer thing to find really good interviewers. James Lipton is one of them. The right voice, the right tone, the respectful listening, the appropriate interventions, the questions,... Just great work. Enjoy :)

I used to hate Brel...

Long time ago, when been a child, I used to hate Jacques Brel music. Well, to be honest, he was not the only one. I hated Brel, Brassins, Leonard Cohen and a long etcetera of melancholic crazy torturers, that my father used to put forever in the car. He was the driver and we were his victims for long hours of listening pain. 'Old torturing music', hell on earth! And no fucking escape possible (children security lock, what a stupid invention)!

But luckily, sometimes, when we grow, we 'mature' (not always) and some tastes change. We stop listening the music for listening the lyrics... and...
WOOOOOOOW!
The rediscovering is an amazing experience.
You start to understand the why of your father putting the same tape over and over. The why of being this f#* singer so famous.

"Les vieux","Les bourgeois","Ces gens-là","Les bonbons","Au suivant"...
they are just ones of a long list of masterpieces. He was a really amazing author.

so...
RESPECT
and there's my little homage (or try to)




And if any time you can see any documentary about him or better, any interview, just sit down and enjoy it.

Well, the thing that started as a San Juan night wallpaper (thanks for the idea Isabelita) has ended in a playing around a fire kind of scene. Well, not exactly the same... but as always I have been caught by the time so, no place for a second try. And well, it can be apply to the month, isn't it?.

Moreover I can do a continuing part on August with the little boys running from the burning forest. It will be the season here in Spain!! (he he he)
